The young fellow on the left is Shawn Hlookoff. He is a musician from Nelson, British Columbia who in the last short while has created quite a stir with one of his songs, Soldier.I saw him perform Soldier as a feature on Global News here in Vancouver, and I was taken with the song's lyrics and melody as well as his voice.
In view that this weekend marks both Remembrance Day in Canada and Veterans Day in the United States, I have decided to close this week's show with Soldier by Shawn Hlookoff. It will be dedicated to every soldier past and present, everywhere in the world.
