Last week I began the update with the news that long time listener Connie Canode in Madison, Wisconsin, was in the hospital with pneumonia and in the
ICU. Well I am pleased to let you know that Connie is doing much better and is
not only out of ICU but now also out of the hospital and back home
recuperating. Take it easy Connie, and get better soon. My appreciation to her
husband Rick, also a long time
listener and contributor of the Rick’s
Rare Rock & Roll Relic feature every week on the show, for the updates
on Connie’s condition. We need our friends in good health.
I’d like to say hi to Rich and
Kitten in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
who are celebrating their wedding anniversary this week. All the best to you
both. And speaking of anniversaries, this week is the 4th Anniversary of the Music Link feature on the show. It’s prepared every week by Paul Carter, Jr., in Ellicott City, Maryland. In recognition
of the four years, I decided to play the very first Music Link from 2010. The
two songs were Please Mr. Postman by The Marvelettes and The Letter by The Box Tops. And of course, the music link was postman and letter.

concert was emceed by future Rock & Roll Hall of Fame DJ Red Robinson. This

Beatles and Red Robinson painted by world renowned BC artist, Glen Green. To
