This Week on Treasure Island Oldies - Week of April 25th, 2016

April 25th to April 30th, 2016

Great to spend another four hours with you again this week on Treasure Island Oldies. I am very much looking forward to celebrating our 19th Anniversary with you next week. Join me for the Live show Sunday, May1st and later on the Archive at the Listen Page. There will be a ton of great music and great songs to celebrate this special occasion! It will all get underway at the usual time, 6 pm Pacific time.

It was nice hearing from listener Jake Salazar in Vista, California, who requested two songs, Brenda and The Tabulations with Right On The Tip Of My Tongue and also a nice Lost Treasure from Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Doggone Right. If you'd like to hear a song, be sure to let me know. Send an email to requests@treasureislandoldies.com or call the Listener Line at 206-339-0709 to record your request message.

My Generation Posters and More has a great Spring Sale all this week. Buy one poster at the regular price and choose a second 12 x 15 poster for FREE. Please check out their website for more information. And be sure to sign up for their weekly newsletter. You'll be among the first to know about the upcoming weekly specials. And be sure to also let them know you heard their commercial on Treasure Island Oldies.

If your birthday is coming up soon, please be sure to let me know so that I can also celebrate your special day on the show. Send the details to birthdays@treasureislandoldies.com. I’ll wish you Happy Birthday during the show and also play Birthday by The Beatles for you.

The Treasure Island Oldies Blog is playing the Number One song on this week's Top 5 Countdown from 1958. It's David Seville with The Witch Doctor. It's our Song of the Week. Enjoy!

Voice Your Choice presents Dobie Gray. His career spanned across the 60s and 70s and we present one song from each decade. Cast your vote at the Voice Your Choice page for either The "In" Crowd or Drift Away. I’ll play the winner on next week’s show.

Take care. See you next week for the 19th Anniversary Special.

Bye for now.
