This Week on Treasure Island Oldies - Week of April 23, 2017

Week of April 23rd, 2017 to April 29th, 2017

It was a wonderful four hours with you again this week on Treasure Island Oldies; thanks for listening. It was a pleasure to have a busy chat room again this week, with everything working perfectly and everyone having a great time together. With some of the recent technical adjustments in the studio, the comments coming back are that the show has better sound than ever. Thanks very much. My webmaster, Eddy Fisher, and I take great pride in having the website and studio equipment operating at peak performance. So your feedback is much appreciated.

We're just two weeks away from celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Treasure Island Oldies and with a big party Sunday, May 7th. We began back in 1997 of May 4th and have never looked back. I hope you can join me for the party and if you care to, send an email to me and I'll read your greeting on the air. The address is michael@treasureislandoldies.com

Do you have a birthday coming up? I'd like to help celebrate your special day by wishing you Happy Birthday on the air and also play Birthday by The Beatles for you. Send the details to birthdays@treasureislandoldies.com

The Top Five Countdown on this week's show is from 1960. And the Number One song is the first release by Elvis Presley after he left the U.S. Army. Stuck On You is playing at the Treasure Island Oldies Blog. Enjoy!

Canada's Paul Anka is in the spotlight next week for Voice Your Choice on Treasure Island Oldies. Cast your vote at the Voice Your Choice page for either Lonely Boy or It's Time To Cry. I'll play the winning song on next week's show.

Here's this week's Rock and Roll News Podcast.

Have a good week.

Bye for now.

Michael
